The 2026 line up will feature performances from Headliner DIESEL – Australian rock musician, as well as Magnificent Seven, Sandee Facy, Amitie and Foxxy Cleopatra bringing energy and atmosphere to the winter soltice.

Forbes Picnic Races
Dust off your best racewear and get ready for one of the biggest events on the Forbes social calendar — the 2026 Forbes Cup, proudly presented by the Forbes Jockey Club.
Taking place on Sunday 2 August, this iconic day of country racing combines thrilling trackside action with a vibrant and social atmosphere. Racegoers can enjoy feature events including “The Big Dance” Qualifying Race and “The Ben Hall Bullet” Open Sprint Race, showcasing quality racing at its best.
The day offers something for everyone, including:
- Fashions on the Field
- Ticketed Presidents Marquee (with unlimited alcohol & canapés)
- Full afternoon of racing excitement
- On-site bar, TAB and canteen facilities
The festivities kick off the night before with the Calcutta at Club Forbes on Saturday 1 August from 6pm, building anticipation ahead of race day.

Held on Sunday 30th August from 10am- 1pm , this relaxed and engaging experience invites you to sample locally sourced food, beverage tastings and giveaways, all while connecting with the passionate producers behind the products.
This is a great opportunity to support our small local businesses within the region while experiencing the flavors and creativity that makes Forbes unique.
